The Board of Kiplin Hall Trust is seeking to appoint a Director to lead the organisation through a period of change and development.

Kiplin Hall is a fascinating Jacobean House that was built for George Calvert, Secretary of State to James I and founder of Maryland in the United States. In recent years, the Hall and its grounds has been subject to considerable restoration and while there is still more to do, today the priority switches to making the organisation sustainable for the future.

The Director joins at an important time of change tasked with developing the organisation, its operations and visitor offer. With responsibility for increasing visitor numbers and the income generating opportunities for the Kiplin Hall Trust, the new Director, with the Board, will develop the strategy which will take the organisation on the next stage of its journey.

Providing inspirational and creative leadership to the staff and volunteer team, the Director will be strong operationally, have good communication skills to advocate for the Hall externally, develop new partnerships and seize opportunities for attracting new funds to enhance what Kiplin Hall can deliver to its visitors.

Candidates for this role need the energy, determination, commercial skills and empathy with Kiplin Hall and its heritage, to take on this role and lead the change which will ensure a great future for the organisation, its visitors, staff and volunteers alike.
