Trustee vacancy – UK Antarctic Heritage Trust

The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust, based in Cambridge, is looking to strengthen and enhance our Board of Trustees with new skills and ideas and the energy to deliver our vision. We are seeking individuals who are inspired by the potential of our vision and have the expertise, networks and creativity to build support for our work.

Number of meetings per annum/time commitment: 4 Full Board meetings per year, additional Sub-Committee and project specific meetings.

There are four full Board meetings per year – January, April, July and October. In normal circumstances these are held largely in London, but virtual meetings are now more the norm. Papers can be issued in advance by email and will need to be read before the meeting. In addition, some Board members may join committees such as the Finance, or Fundraising, Nominations or temporary working groups, which will require their attendance at additional meetings. In addition, Trustees may bring their expertise to work on specific tasks or projects with other Board members or the Executive team as required.
