Nominations for the Heritage Alliance’s celebration of the amazing achievements of the sector’s volunteers, are now open with a closing date of 30 September for all entries.
Now in its eighth year and supported by Ecclesiastical Insurance, the award is a wonderful way to raise awareness of the generosity of the sector’s volunteers and to say thank you where they have far exceeded expectations. Nominate a volunteer today!
AIM is a member of the Heritage Alliance, so AIM members from across the UK are eligible to enter, so please do consider recognising your own volunteers’ hard work by nominating them.
Nominations should demonstrate a significant achievement in the heritage sector:
The winner receives up to £150 toward travel costs and one day’s pro bono support through practical or professional volunteering from Ecclesiastical. For example, digging, decorating, sharing business management, marketing, communications or HR skills. The exact nature of the support to be agreed with the winner.
They will also receive a framed original Pugin-designed tile from the Palace of Westminster and have the opportunity to explain their achievement at The Heritage Alliance’s Heritage Day on 5 December 2017.
Nominations will be shortlisted by The Heritage Alliance Chairman, Loyd Grossman, Deputy Chairman, Ben Cowell, Henry Cleary, and The Heritage Alliance CEO, Lizzie Glithero-West. This panel then recommends a winner for approval by the Heritage Alliance Board.
