The new Charity Finance Group Awards celebrate the unsung heroes in the world of charity finance.
The awards are not only for finance directors and traditional ‘leaders’ but open to anyone working in the charity finance world.
Here are the categories that your museum can enter, and there is further information about the requirements for nominations on the CFG website.
The Inspirational trustee award recognises any trustee, treasurer, chair or committee member who has made an extraordinary contribution to an organisation.
Innovation in the finance team
The winner will demonstrate creativity and innovation in how they developed and managed a new project, no matter how big or small.
Embracing digital in financial reporting
This award recognises an improvement to financial processes and reporting using digital and will be awarded to the team that has made the most impact in incorporating the use of digital in developing their financial report.
You can nominate your own charity, or anyone else can nominate your charity – another charity, or a perhaps a corporate partner you work with.
The awards were launched at the CFG Annual Conference this year, and nominations will be open until 27 September.
After that, our panel of judges will take some time to consider the entries, and a shortlist of three for each award will be announced. Winners will then be announced at the CFG Christmas Drinks, which all shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend.
If you’ve not joined CFG yet, all you need to do is sign up on our website to access our membership benefits for free through your AIM membership. Awards nominations need to be submitted by Friday 27 September, so we recommend registering with CFG early to meet the deadline.
