Marketing Officer, Association of Independent Museums

£27000 per annum, full-time

37.5 hours a week

AIM Office, National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port (with possibilities for homeworking)

Creative and strategic? Innovative and energetic? Looking to develop your marketing career in the arts and cultural sector?

Join our small, dedicated and effective team and help AIM hit its targets. In this new role, you will help us continue to grow and serve our membership, providing creative and engaging marketing activities that respond to the dynamic environment that is today’s independent museum sector.

A self-starter with proven copywriting and marketing skills, you will develop and deliver multi-channel marketing plans and harness our many stories in a new content strategy. You will be creative, digitally literate and as comfortable with delivering dynamic content as you are with analysis and planning.

Knowledge of the independent museum and heritage sector is not essential, but you must be keen to learn more and be able to advocate for AIM’s members and our values.

The role is based at AIM’s office at the historic National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port, commutable from Manchester, Liverpool and North Wales.
