Bailiffgate Museum in Alnwick, Northumberland is seeking to appoint a freelance manager to oversee its exciting development from Covid-19 lock down to vibrant, sustainable future. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and well organised person to take our independent and highly successful Museum to a new level, drawing on the many innovations available to give a modern and ‘must see’ feel for 21st Century audiences. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated and forward-thinking individual who can build on Bailiffgate’s reputation for excellence by bringing together several projects, currently led by our inspiring team of volunteers.
Location: Alnwick, Northumberland
Salary: £200 – £300 per day including travel and expenses
Contract type: 40 days, mainly over the next 12 months. Fixed term subject to funding
Start date: As soon as possible and no later than 1 September 2020
Working pattern: Generally, the equivalent of 2 days a week. The work will be more intense in the initial stages and the successful candidate must be flexible to meet the needs of the business
