Job vacancy – Facilities and Maintenance Manager at Nottingham Castle

Nottingham Castle Trust is seeking an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead the development and operation of all facilities activities at Nottingham Castle when it re-opens following a £30,000,000 transformational redevelopment project.

Reports to: Director of Finance and Corporate Services.

Direct Line Management: Gallery and Technical Engineers, Rangers and Cleaners and occasional responsibility for secondees, trainees and volunteers.

Purpose of Role 
Manage and oversee an effective operational structure for the safe, efficient and effective running of Nottingham Castle. Supporting the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in ensuring that all strategic facilities requirements are managed and operational requirements implemented, alongside the planning of venue capital requirements and operational budgetary construction.

Terms of Appointment 
Location: Ideally the post holder become part of our wider support team and will live locally
Hours: This is a full-time, permanent role. 37.5 hours per week (20 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays = 28 days total).  The post-holder will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays as required.
Remuneration: £30,000 per annum
