The AIM training grants fund is currently fully allocated for 2018 but we are investigating the possibility of re-opening it again before the end of the year

AIM Training Grants help to support member museums in developing the skills and expertise of their staff and trustees. We can grant aid fees for courses, conferences, museum study visits and mentoring placements with grants of up to £300.

The purpose of AIM Training Grants is to promote best practice by supporting attendance at conferences and training courses.  Applicants museums must be AIM members and priority will be given to smaller museums receiving fewer than 50,000 visitors per year.

We can grant aid fees, accommodation (only where distance travel is involved) and travel costs. The maximum grant is £300 and receipt of previous AIM grants will be considered where relevant. We cannot support retrospective applications.
