AIM Website Wins Two UK Digital Experience Awards At Wembley

The team from Grit Digital picked up two awards for the AIM website

The AIM website won two prestigious awards at the UK Digital Experience Awards at Wembley Stadium last week, scooping the awards for best ‘not for profit’ website and also the overall award for Best Digital Experience.

Created with the support of Grit Digital, a Norfolk based digital agency, the AIM website – which launched in April this year – competed against international brands including Virgin Money, Three UK, Lloyds and Sage.

At Wembley Stadium, the cream of the country’s business talent joined firms striving to provide cutting edge Customer Experience through digital platforms in presenting to a panel of judges comprising key industry figures.

Entrants were scrutinized by a judging panel featuring some of the sharpest industry minds, who examined the businesses’ digital experience portfolio and scoring according to strict criteria.

Following a taxing round of presentations, judges decided who had earned Gold and Silver in 20 categories in the UK Digital Experience Awards (UKDXAs) and the team from Grit Digital picked up two awards for the AIM website and explained to everyone gathered at Wembley about AIM – and the outstanding work carried out by our members.

AIM staff and Trustees were delighted with this news and we plan on introducing new online resources to the website in 2018 including case studies, podcasts and online learning tools to ensure we continue to offer the best possible online experience for our members and the UK heritage sector.

“It was vitally important that the new AIM website represented what we do when we launched it in April this year and that it provides a fantastic resource and online experience for our members, so we were delighted to hear that the website received such glowing praise from the judging panel. AIM staff and trustees are all overjoyed that Grit Digital scooped two industry awards for the work that they did with us,” said Sassy Hicks, Membership, Marketing and Projects Manager for the Association of Independent Museums
