AIM is recruiting a new Director, who will make a significant contribution to the cultural life of the UK, and in particular, support its thriving independent museums.
The Association of Independent Museums, AIM, supports and champions independent museums, galleries and heritage organisations in the UK – helping them to achieve their purposes and ensuring their needs are recognised and addressed by policy makers, funders and other organisations working in the sector.
As AIM continues to grow its membership, embarks on a renewed relationship with Arts Council England as well as partners in other UK countries, and gains increased influence with national policy-makers, it is both a timely and exciting point to join AIM as its new Director.
We are looking for an experienced, practical leader, ideally with a sound grasp of the challenges facing independent museums, relevant contemporary networks and the ability to engage effectively with our diverse membership and national stakeholders, to lead AIM, with the support of its Board, during its next phase of development, and to even greater success.
AIM welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
