AIM members can now benefit from free advice on all aspects of Museums and Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief via a new telephone helpline.
Museums and Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief has been designed to support organisations to create permanent or temporary (touring and non-touring) public facing exhibitions by helping them to recover some of their production costs.
Your charity does not need to be paying tax to benefit from this relief.
Run in partnership with Scott-Moncrieff, all UK AIM members can claim a free 15-minute telephone call with one of the team at Scott-Moncrieff on any issues covering Museums and Galleries Exhibitions Tax Relief.
Scott Craig, Partner (VAT) at Scott Moncrieff said of the new partnership:
“We are excited to be entering into this arrangement with AIM and look forward to providing specialised support and assistance to its members. Our charity tax team provides specialist tax advice (corporate VAT and gift aid) to a wide range of charities across the country. We have a specific interest and a large number of clients in the arts culture and heritage sector and have developed an in-depth and specialist knowledge of museums and galleries exhibition tax relief. Our arrangement with AIM will allow us to share our specialist knowledge and ensure Museums understand and implement tax rules correctly and effectively.”
