Please note: No refunds will be given after the 22nd May (30 days prior to the event) and a handling fee of £5 will be made on cancellations and refunds.

The Early Bird Offer is available until 27th April 2018. The Early Bird Rate this year is available to AIM Members, delegates from Museum Members with over 100,000 visitors are unable to use this Early Bird Offer. This means that only large museums are excluded from the offer – but individuals, consultants and other members can use the offer

Arrival At Conference

Arrival At Conference

The conference is situated within the upper conference areas of the British Motor Museum.

There is a separate Conference entrance from the main museum visitor entrance, which will be clearly signposted upon your arrival.

You are more than welcome to visit the museum once you have registered for conference.

You will need to provide your conference badge or booking information for security upon arrival

Your badges will be sent to you under separate cover prior to conference.

 

Car Parking

Car Parking

Please park on the areas on the left and right side of the road as you drive down and see the museum in front of you.

You then follow the signs on foot, which say conference delegates, this is to the left-hand side of the main museum building – where the conference entrance is situated.

Cars can be left overnight but you will need to inform AIM staff at registration and note your registration numbers for security purposes.

Registration

Registration

The registration area is situated in the Exhibition Gallery Area.

You will only need to register once.

AIM staff will register and greet you on your first day of conference.

You will then receive your conference programme and pack.

At the point of registration, you will be asked to complete sign up forms for the optional breakout sessions, the Walking Study Tours and coach travel (if required).

Day 1 – Thursday 21 June – Registration is from 9.15am until 11am

Day 2 –  Friday 22 June – Registration is from 8.15am until 9.30am

Cloakroom, Refreshments & Dietary

A secure cloakroom area is available at the registration area.

Refreshments will be available in the Exhibition Gallery Area.

Lunch will also be served during both days in the exhibition area with some seating available.

Coffee and other drinks will be served during conference in the exhibition area.

Please ensure you inform AIM of any Dietary requirements you may have.

We will need to ensure that all venues are informed well in advance. For the AIM Annual Dinner, at registration we will provide you with a discreet indicator you have requested a tailored meal – please ensure you have this with you during the dinner service.

There will be an opportunity to view the Conference Trade Exhibition in the Gallery prior to the start of the Conference.

Coaches

Coaches

Coaches will be available for delegates to and from the British Motor Museum calling at the conference hotels and Stratford Station. A guide to times are as follows;

Thursday 21st June from 16.15 until 17.00 from the conference to hotels and the station

Thursday 21st June starting at 18.15 until 18.30 from Hotels and the station to Compton Verney for the Annual Dinner returning at 23.00.

If you require additional transport from the gate house to the main house on arrival, please inform the AIM Staff.

At the end of the evening coaches will collect guests from outside of the main house.

Grants are available from the AIM Training Grant. Application forms are available here.

Please return all completed grant forms no later than 20 April 2018.

The grants, which must be approved in advance of Conference, can cover a percentage of the Conference fees, travel and accommodation, but not the optional evening or social events.

If you have never been to an AIM Conference before, to help you settle in and meet people we can provide you with a ‘Buddy’. Please just let us know if you would like a buddy!

The conference exhibition will showcase companies and organisations that work with and support AIM members in a wide range of ways.

The exhibition is open on both days of the conference and is a great opportunity to ask questions, network and find new products.
