AIM Energy Action Group Launches New Energy Audit For Museums

The Government is targeting energy efficiency as a way of reducing UK wide energy demand and is urging organisations to act by exploiting energy efficient equipment and processes.

Museums can all do their bit. The problem is, where do you start? Energy issues are complicated and addressing them is time consuming, but the AIM Energy Action Group can help.

We have designed an Energy Audit that seeks to get an overview of where your museum is right now, where you are headed and what areas can yield the most effect, hopefully with the minimum effort or expense. This is just the first step on your energy journey, and it can be followed up with site visits and more detailed analysis, but it is a good place to start!

In the first instance, you can download the Survey and complete it at your leisure. Once completed, return it to the address indicated and someone will get back in touch to review the results and look at the next steps.
