AIM Pub Evening - Friday 15 June 2012
Join us for a relaxed evening in Malmesbury, we depart from the Conference hotel by coach at 6.15pm and travel to Malmesbury for a drinks reception at the Athelstan Museum.
The Athelstan Museum at Malmesbury is one of a network of community museums across Wiltshire with a rich collection of local history from this important Saxon market town. In 2006 the local authority agreed to transfer management of the museum to the Friends of Athelstan Museum. The museum recently reopened at the Old Town Hall with new displays supported by an HLF grant. An opportunity over drinks to hear how they managed their fundraising campaign and learn of their future plans.
