We’re looking for a Treasurer to join the board of trustees at Acton Scott Heritage Farm.
Are you confident with numbers and passionate about supporting heritage farming and the rural community? We’re a friendly, volunteer‑run charity based in rural South Shropshire, and we’re looking for a new Treasurer to join our board. This is a voluntary role.
What you’ll do:
- Keep an eye on our finances and help us stay on track
- Prepare simple financial reports for the trustees
- Ensure we meet basic charity finance requirements.
What you’ll need:
- Good financial awareness (you don’t need to be an accountant)
- A few hours each month to spare
- An interest in helping a small start-up charity to thrive
- Reliability, honesty, and a collaborative spirit.
