AIM Training Grants
In 2016, AIM has awarded over £4,000 to twenty-eight AIM member organisations in Training Grants. It has been our most successful year so far for these grants and some of the training we have helped fund includes conferences such as the AIM National Conference and AMOT conference, photography courses, Museum Galleries Scotland workshops and archive management training.
The AIM Training Grants scheme is now closed for this year but it will reopen on a rolling basis from January 2017.
Congratulations to all grant recipients this year and we look forward to funding more worthwhile training in the New Year.
AIM Training Grants are available to support member museums in developing the skills and expertise of their workforce (paid or voluntary). The purpose of AIM Training Grants are to promote best practice by supporting attendance at conferences and training courses. Applicants museums must be AIM members and priority will be given to smaller museums receiving less than 50,000 visitors p.a.

The maximum grant is £300 and receipt of previous AIM grants will be taken into account where relevant. We cannot support retrospective applications.
